I was arrested charged with a bogus case by the St Petersburg Police Department and I was already out on bond for a fictitious incident . My bond was revoked and I was stuck in jail. First, I'd like to say that I was not requested to make this review. I feel like it's the least I could do with how grateful I am. Thanks to Maddux and his team my pending felony charges were dropped yesterday. When we started the case I was overwhelmed with stress and anxiety. Maddux actually took the time to hear me out, calm me down and EVEN PAID FOR MY FIRST THERAPY SESSION with a professional therapist he referred. Not many other lawyers would go to those extremes to help their client feel supported. Maddux is a great guy who wont go one phone call with out asking how you are doing and mentioning his 3 year old that he adores. He is busy with many cases like most lawyers, but he has a great team that responds quickly and efficiently. Many lawyers can put in the work, but Maddux went above and beyond! Michael and his team are awesome! From my very first call to Michael's office, I could tell I had made the right choice. I live out of state so I was really lucky to have found his law firm. I had called a couple of other offices in the area who didn't really seem interested in helping with my probate issue. I talked to Sam who was very friendly and super helpful. The process was straightforward and they always answered my questions promptly. They even helped resolve a county tax office administration error without an extra fee, months after probate was done. I can't say enough good things about Michael. He helped me through what was certainly one of the worst times of my life. He was honest, caring, non-judgmental and realistic. Michael Maddux has been such a Godsend to our family. People normally hear " You cannot trust a lawyer." It becomes really hard when you have to balance a lawyers performance, reliability and the time to aquire one when stuff hits the fan. Luckily, I had the time to interview six different, well-known lawyers in the tampa area. Michael Maddux came out on top when I sought after someone to represent me. He has been very loyal, he listens attentively and works strategically to get the best outcome for his client. I was not another case in his file or another dollar in his bank. The entire Maddux firm worked as a team to help me through my case both objectively and emotionally. Working with Maddux and his team did not feel like it was methodical, but more like "strategic impromptu." The reason has to be that the Michael Maddux firm knows that no two or three clients are the same. Case in point - I was looking at nine felonies, from which I was looking at easily 4 - 5 years in prison on 6 of them. Prison time was not an option for me as I just kicked off my career and have huge family obligations. The Michael Maddux firm and I settled with 50 community service hours, an 8 hr anger management class (completed in a couple weeks), 24 months probation and reduced my felonies to just four, which after my probation period I can seal (never show up on public searchs, job criminal background checks, etc). I plan to complete the probation in half the time, which was also agreed upon. I could go on and on about how satisfied I am but, will shorten it with one last comment. No matter what situation your in, whether your looking for a breath of fresh air or a glimpse of light in the dark, let an expert, a friend, a counselor be your guide. Let Michael Maddux represent you.

Words can not describe my gratitude for Michael Maddux. I was charged with a DUI. Mr Maddux and his team was very transparent, hands on to where he dissected my case and determined the traffic stop was an illegal traffic stop. Mr Maddux was able to gather evidence, to the T, he went above an beyond to travel with me in my car to record and display in court the terrible road conditions where the officer pulled me over for apparently swaddling in my lane. He displayed his expertise in court where he was able to display conflicting information on the police report and the officers testimony. My case got closed!!
